Description / History:
Two nineteenth century straight forceps used to extract upper maxillary incisors. The first dental forcep has criss–cross metal indents on handles, an unidentifiable name and "NEW YORK" engraved on the side. The mouth of tool has gap when closed, but does not a large range of motion when opened. The second simple forcep has "YARNALL" engraved on the side. The mouth of tool closes completely with no gaps and has a wide range motion when opened.
