Description / History:
Part of a 20th century anesthesia machine. Consits of two CO2 absorption containers, three small containers for other gases or liquids, and two rubber tubes. When an anesthesia machine was used by a patient, their breath would travel through the machine and back into their lungs on inhilation. In order to avoid the patient breathing in the outputed CO2, these absorption containers became a common part of anesthesia machines.
