Description / History:
Esmarch's Chloroform Inhaler Improved Wide Frame. Sold with drop bottle and another missing wire piece. Sold for $0.75 in the 1915 Lentz catalogue. The frame would cover the patient's nose and mouth, while the cloth on top would have chloroform slowly dropped onto it until the surgery was over.
