Description / History:
The following collection of surgical instruments was made in the twentieth century: bulldog clamp, curette, and two curved dissectors.

Bulldog clamp is made of stainless steel by Tiemann. The handle has "C.S.W." engraved on it. This device was used to clamp off arteries during open surgical operations.

The broadly curved dissector is made by Pilling Phila. Labeled on the one side of the handle has "Pilling– and on the other side has "Germany stainless".
