This drug was made during the 1950s by Glenbrook Labatories. There are sixty tablets in the container, each tablet contains 9.6 ml of gentian violet, and the pill is red in color. This prescription is used to treat pin worms in children under six years old. The dosage is instructed on the side of the cardboard box.
Pinworms are a parasitic worm that lives in the intestines of humans, most often in children due to lack of hygiene. Pinworm symptoms are the following: irritation/ itching of anal and rectal area. Children would obtain pinworm eggs by scratching their rectal or anal area and spread the inflection on to others and back to themselves.
