In this collection, there is a circumcision clamp and circumcision sutures. Also known as a gomco clamp or yellen clamp, the circumcision clamp was used to perform circumcisions. This device was invented by Aaron Goldstein and Hiram Yellen in 1934. Some advantages to using the clamp are: eliminates haemorrhage, less blood loss, decrease risk of infection, clean cut incision, and shorter operation time. This gomco clamp that was manufactured by Gomco Surgical Manufacturing Corporation in the mid–twentieth century.

The second item is a set of circumcision sutures that was made during the mid–twentieth century by Bauer & Black (Division of the Kendall Company). There are a total of six sutures in the box that are made of various size needles and materials (ie; horsehair, non–absorbale skin suture, silk, silkworm gut, and cat gut).
