Small mouth–blown glass bottle. Tan lable reads, "John A. Borneman & Sons/ Tablet No. 69". This family company was made up of homeopathic manufacturing pharmacists located in the U.S.. It was founded in 1908 and was aquired by the French company, Boiron, in 1983.
Due to the ingredients in these pills, it seems that they were used to treat muscle pain or arthritis.
Ingredients include:
Macrotin– While used for a number of ailments, Macrotin could also be used to relieve headaches or joint pain.
Colchicine Amorphous– Was often used to treat gout, although in large doses could be highly deadly in the form of repiratory failure.
Byonia– Was used to treat arthritis, among many other ailments.
Rhus tox– Collected from Poison Ivy, this remedy was often used as an athritis and joint remedy.
