Description / History:
Zinc Oxide Adhesive Plaster was manufactured in the early 20th century by Bauer & Black and measured a half inch wide by 1 yard long. The adhesive plaster was was sold in a metal cylindrical container, and used to close small wounds and hold dressings in place. The plaster sold by Bauer & Black was very structurally and functionally similar to the Jonas Adhesive Plaster manufactured by Johnson & Johnson.
