30cc ampule of xylocaine also known as lidocaine, a common pain killer. 1 percent.
The glass ampule is in a cardboard tube. The tube has no markings on it. Made by ASTRA, in Worcester, Mass. Glass ampule is printed with drug info.

This amuple of xylocaine is for use as a nerve block, however, it has many pain relieving uses. It is also available as an oral gel, cream, patch, spray or mouth wash.

First synthesized in 1943 by Swedish chemist Nils Lofgren, xylocaine was first marketed in 1949. Lidocaine is on the World Health Organization List of Essential medicines.
