Additional Information:
Although manufactured in 1856, this microscope was used well into the 20th century. Once owned by Dr. Carl Netscher, it was given by him to Dr. John Atlee Sr., a prominant Lacaster doctor. Dr. Atlee then gave this microscope to Dr. Paul Eyler in 1931 when he was a biology student at Franklin & Marshall College, Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
