Description / History:
A late 19th century black leather doctor's bag. The metal hinged rack allowed for the doctor to carry many different medications in a compact collection. The back row was made up of wooden slats to house the larger medicine bottles. Many of the 60 glass bottles contain an aluminium twist top, the others have a cork stopper.
