Description / History:
An early–20th century brass ophthalmoscope. The instrument was stored in a black leather covered wooden box and contained different light focusing attachments. The ophthalmoscope was utilized to inspect the inside of the eye, including the retina and optic nerve. The scope and attachments were stored in a rectangular wooden box wrapped in black leather.
