Description / History:
Post–mortem leather brown leather kit with red interior. Made by the German company, F. Koeller & Co. Instruments include basic post–mortem dissection tools: a hammer, a chisel, scissors, a needle, a saw, toothed forceps and a few other unknown instruments. The hammer and chisel were used to break open the vault of the skull, while the scissors, needle and forceps were used for surturing the skin after an autopsy to return the body to its orginial state.
