Description / History:
Small military canvas pocket surgical kit. Was used during WWII. Instruments include forceps and scalpels. Two inside pockets hold silk sutures, needles and a paper listing medical officers' medical supplies– dated June 4, 1942. Bag was manufactured by Superior Surgical MFG. Co. Inc.. Item number is 97051. The needle packets are dated to before 1936, but were obviously reused in this younger kit. Front fold reads, "Medical Officers Case".
