Description / History:
An early 20th century battery operated otoscope in a brown hard plastic case with the maker's mark engraved on top. A worn metal otoscope with signs of metal discoloration and includes four different sized ear speculas. The otoscope was used to look into a persons ear using the different sized speculas to view the ear canal and the eardrum. This helped to view the condition of the ear and to locate problems with the ear or foreign objects in the ear.
