Description / History:
Early twentieth century stainless steel Young Prostatic Retractor and Bifurcated Young Retractor, either of these devices can be used to bring the prostate gland into view during prostatectomy procedures. This instrument was developed by an urologist by the name of Hugh Howard Young. Both instruments have "J.L.A." printed on the other side of the hook.
