Description / History:
Twentieth century stainless steel Magill forcep used to introduce an endotracheal tube into the trachea during nasotracheal intubation. Also used to remove any foreign objects that are in obstruction of the trachea's airway. This device was developed by Sir Ivan Whiteside Magill in the 1920s.
