Description / History:
Early 20th century hospital bassinet. Made from painted metal, the crib portion can be lifted out of the rolling frame. there is a shelf under the bassinet for storage and a slot on the end for patient information.
This bassinet was donated to the Edward Hand Medical Heritage Foundation by Columbia Hospital in Columbia, Pennsylvania and was used in their hospital maternity ward in the 1920s and 1930s.
