Twentieth century infant vaporizer is an apparatus used to generate warm or hot steam by heating water. The moist air is used to air in congestion and relieve throat pain. Vaporizers have to be cleaned daily to keep bacteria growing in the device, which could cause a lung infection if the child breathes it in. This vaporizer is made out of glass and metal and has an automatic shut off after four hours of operation. It was manufactured by the Praktkal Company.
