In this collection, there are three Gomco blooless circumsicion clamps. Gomco clamp, also known as a yellen clamp, this device was used to perform circumcisions. This device was invented by Aaron Goldstein and Hiram Yellen in 1934. Some advantages to using the clamp are: eliminates haemorrhage, less blood loss, decrease risk of infection, clean cut incision, and shorter operation time. This gomco clamp that was manufactured by Gomco Surgical Manufacturing Corporation in the mid–twentieth century.
