Dr. Hand's Teething Lotion
Manufactured by Hand Medicine Company, Philadelphia, PA

The teething lotion was given for bathing the gums of teething babies to relieve pain and distress. In other cases, it was provided for temporary relief from pain associated with toothache's in both children and adults. The lotion was a red colored solution distrubuted in an early 20th century 2 oz. clear glass jar with a white metal screw top. The bottle was packaged in a green cardboard box for sale in pharmacy's and apothecaries.
