Tetrazets were used in the mid–20th century for the temporary relief of minor sore throats and mouth irritations. The tetrazets were distributed as round troches (lozenges) in a clear glass bottle with a clear plastic snap–top. Each troche contained: zinc bacitracin, tyrothricin, neomycin sulfate and benzocaine.
