Description:
The Digital Content Intern will play a vital role in updating the Lancaster Medical Heritage Museum’s website, specifically focusing on exhibit pages. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in digital content creation and museum communications.
Responsibilities:
- Research and gather information on current and past exhibitions.
- Write engaging and informative content for exhibit pages, including descriptions, historical context, and object highlights.
- Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy and clarity.
- Collaborate with the museum’s team to create visually appealing exhibit pages.
- Assist with other communications tasks as needed, such as social media, press releases, or event planning.
Qualifications:
- Pursuing a degree in communications, journalism, advertising, or a related field.
- Strong writing and editing skills.
- Proficiency in website editing tools.
- Interest in history, museums, or digital communications.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
