Visit the Lancaster Medical Heritage Museum
Step into the fascinating world of medical history and explore how science, innovation, and compassion have shaped healthcare in Lancaster County and beyond. While we continue to grow our virtual collection, the best way to experience our 11,000+ artifacts is in person — from surgical instruments and early X-rays to nursing uniforms and medical oddities.
Location & Directions
We are located in the Flory Building at 410 N. Lime Street, Lancaster, PA, directly across from the US Gas Station at the corner of Lemon and Lime Streets.
When you arrive, enter through the main doors, head down the stairs to the lower level, and walk through the double doors to reach the museum.
Accessibility: The museum is fully wheelchair accessible via the ramp and elevator located on the left-hand side of the building.
At the Lancaster Medical Heritage Museum, we welcome all visitors. Our space is safe, inclusive, and open to everyone interested in learning about the history of healing.
