Description / History:
This rhodium plated and black laquered microscope was produced in 1951 by American Optic Co which bought Spencer Lens Co in 1935, but did not start manufacturing there until 1945. Because this was produced recently after the switch, both companies' logos are represented on the microscope. This microscope contains a micrometer type fine adjuster, adjustable stage, mechanical stage, fork–type stage, and rhodium plated parts. Includes 10X, 43X, and 97X nosepieces.
