Description / History:
This mid–20th century Keeler Ophthalmoscope was used by ophthalmologists during routine eye exams to check the health of the retina and optic nerve. The ophthalmoscope measures 8 inches tall with a 3–tone base and light source in the head. The instrument is stored in a rectangular burgundy leather box with blue felt interior.
