Description / History:
Colored visual field targets were used by ophthalmologists to determine the full horizontal and vertical range of what the eye is able to observe. Peripheral vison loss is able to be detected with this method, along with also detecting optic nerve damage observed in patients suffering from glaucoma. The colored targets varied in size and color (Red, Green, Blue and White) and were stored in a rectangular black leather box with blue felt interior.
