Description / History:
U.S. WWII military suture application and removal canvas kit. Instruments include forceps and a needle holder. Inside pocket includes needles, silk sutures, detachable blades and a paper dated February 26th, 1947 listing medical officers' medical supplies. It notes that the information was based on a 1944 version and copied from a 1946 version. While this kit was certainly used during WWII, based on the supplies inside there's a small chance it could have also been used in WWI.
