Wooden amputation kit with brown velvet interior. Consists of knives, a scalpel, a hook, forceps, amputation saws and an empty space that would have held a tourniquet. Belonged to Dr. I. N. Lightner. Due to stylistic similarities, this kit may have been produced by Gemrig in the 1840's. Most likely used during the Civil War.
