This collection contains various forms (liquid, gel, and powder) of numbing medication for teething discomfort. The teethina powder is made in the mid–twentieth century by C. J. Moffett Medicine Company, the relieve gel is made in the mid to late twentieth century (manufacturer unknown), and the Num–zit teething lotion (liquid) was made around the late twentieth century by the Purepac Pharmaceutical Company. The main active ingredient of relieve gel and the Num–zit teething lotion is Benzocaine. Benzocaine is a prescription drug that temporarily pain reliever.
