Description / History:
Set of four 19th century pharmacy bottles. Made from clear mold blown glass with glass stoppers.
The bottles are labeled
Menth. P. Camphorated Menthol is a mild anesthetic, counterirritant, analgesic used as a flavoring agent.
Tinctura Delphinii. Delphinium is an herb used in the treatment of intestinal worms, poor appetite, and insomnia as well as used as a sedative.
Sod. Carbonate dry. Sodium Carbonate is used as an antacid in the treatment of syspepsia, stomach acidity, and scrofulous affections.
