Early 20th century pharmacy bottle of Ammonium Phospphate produced by Merk in Rahway, New Jersey. This chemical has many uses including as a yeast nutrient in winemaking and to aid in cheese culturing. Other uses include as a phosphate source in fertilizers and a component of commercial fire fighting. Its pharmacy use is as an antirheumatic.
